MDOT hosting Open House on M-119 trail Tues., Aug. 18

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be holding an open house for the M-119 non-motorized pathway project from Pleasantview Road to Harbor Springs. The open house will take place Tuesday, Aug. 18 at from 5-7 pm at Little Traverse Township Hall.
It will be an open house style meeting and will include representatives from MDOT, local government officials and others.
MDOT is proposing to construct a non-motorized pathway along the north side of M-119 from Pleasantview Road into Harbor Springs. The new path will connect to the existing trail which can be taken all the way to Petoskey, Bay Harbor and into Charlevoix.
The open house will allow residents and business owners an opportunity to speak one-on-one with MDOT officials about the project.
