Crooked Tree Arts Center

Two exhibitions are on display at the CTAC. In the Edith Gilbert Gallery, 16 artists were invited to interpret one line each from the Robert Frost poem Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening. The artists were asked to create a piece of fine art to illustrate what their line means to them. Artists working in different media from glass to painting to textiles to photography have joined together in this experience. In the West Gallery, the 29th Annual Photography Exhibition featuring work by local photographers is now on display. This year’s juried show focuses on the theme of watershed awareness. For more info call the CTAC at 231-347-4337. Hours of the Gallery are: Mon- Fri, 9-5; Sat, 10-4. The Arts Center is located at 461 E. Mitchell in downtown Petoskey.
