Hotel project approved; neighbors sue city

    The Harbor Springs City Council on Monday, March 5, unanimously approved a proposed downtown hotel project. The approval came with a restriction that zoning permits not be issued until a recently filed lawsuit against the city has been settled. Neighboring property owners David and Mary Wood have filed that lawsuit, relating to the project's approval, in Emmet County Circuit Court.
